Expertise

LCA, PCF, CRM strategy, and EU regulatory advisory.

  • Cradle-to-gate and cradle-to-grave LCAs, Product Carbon Footprints (PCF), and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) conforming to ISO 14040/44, EN 15804, and the EU Battery Regulation PCF methodology.
  • Sector experience spans power systems, offshore wind, electronics, metals, and advanced manufacturing.
  • Corporate greenhouse gas inventories, hotspot identification, and supply chain decarbonisation roadmaps aligned with SBTi, CSRD, TCFD, and CBAM requirements.
  • Particular expertise in Scope 3 value chain emissions for manufacturing and materials-intensive industries, including Category 1 (purchased goods), Category 4 (upstream transport), and Category 11 (use of sold products).
  • Strategic advisory on CSRD double materiality assessment, CBAM compliance (direct emissions verification, embedded carbon reporting for steel, cement, aluminium, and glass exporters), ESPR / Digital Product Passport readiness, and Critical Raw Materials Act positioning.
  • Fluent in EU regulatory sequencing, stakeholder engagement, and translating regulatory complexity into competitive strategy.
  • Supply chain risk assessment, secondary sourcing pathways, and CRM circularity strategies aligned with the EU CRMA, OECD Due Diligence Guidance, and sectoral demand outlooks.
  • Special focus on electronics and semiconductor value chains, battery supply chains, and WEEE-derived secondary material streams — including geopolitical risk, refining bottlenecks, and urban mining economics.
  • Academic and applied research design, literature reviews, and scoping studies on LCA, critical materials, and circular economy.
  • Expert evaluator for Horizon Europe and EIT RawMaterials. Training and workshops on LCA methodology, GHG accounting, CBAM, and EU sustainability regulations for industrial and public sector audiences.
